Chiropractic Adjustment

A chiropractic adjustment, also known as spinal manipulative therapy, is a non-invasive manual procedure applied to dysfunctional spinal or extremity joints. It is a carefully controlled procedure performed by a skilled practitioner that is adapted to each individual patient. The goals of the chiropractic adjustment are to decrease pain, improve restricted movement in a joint, and decrease muscle tightness/spasm. An adjustment will help restore normal function to the spine, joints and supporting structures of the body- so you can enjoy your everyday activities as quickly as possible

Soft-tissue Therapy

These are treatment protocols designed to treat conditions dealing with muscles, tendons, fascia, ligaments, and other connective tissues. When muscles, or other tissues, are over stressed or injured, our bodies use scar tissue as a patch repair. This is a natural part of the healing process, however if the cause of the injury is not alleviated properly the muscle will accumulate too much scar tissue and then becomes a problem.

Therapeutic Rehabilitation/Corrective Exercises

Any mechanical, functional or structural issue, such as poor posture, lack of flexibility, joint dysfunction, decreased strength, endurance, stability, or faulty movement patterns should and will be addressed in order to prevent the issues from progressing. Based on the examination findings, we will design a corrective exercise or rehabilitation routine geared towards your specific needs. Once your body is balanced, and more stable, an entire body approach to strengthening and stabilizing key areas will be done routinely. This is to treat and prevent poor joint function. Poor joint function will disrupt your ability to move — putting you at greater risk for injury, chronic muscle pain, and joint pain.
